Welcome to the Amoeba Concepts web-site.
(last up-dated 1 April 2010)

Amoeba Concepts, the web-site, offers a selection of local artists and designers a place in which to showcase their work. We encourages innovation, fine craftsmanship and a distinctively unique aesthetic.

Amoeba's range of original products are one-of-a-kind pieces of art in their own right, meticulously hand-crafted by experienced and talented professionals. The Amoeba range includes; lighting, furniture, ceramics, jewellery, leatherwork, textiles and printing.

When I closed the shop Amoeba, in September 2009...
I had plans to set Amoeba up as an on-line shop...etc...etc...
Allas, life has it's own way of playing things out...

I am most thankfull to say that, all I have time for right now is my design work...and the exploration of this!
I have attached a couple of images of work I've been creating over the past months to the bottom of this page.

Sundays I run a stall at the Rosebank Market - stall 7B, 1st Ave.
The stall carries a range of my laser cut decor.
As much as I would like to consistently occupy my stall at the market, weekends often demand other activities, so please call beforehand to assure I'm there!

For those of you visiting Kwa-Zulu Natal over the Easter weekend, do make a point of stopping past the Midlands as the Easter Rolling Exhibition will be hosted at selected venues.

Hillfold Pottery will feature Lindsay Scott's high-temperature, oil-fired stoneware and porcelain pieces.
Also on exhibition at Hillfold will be;
Albert Ntombela's glazed terracotta vases and planters;
Kali Griffin's all natural, block printed bed-linen and table-cloths;
Claire Regnard's laser-cut steel range of wall decor and screens,
and
Chevy Borchowsky's metal, resin and wood lamps and sculpture.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Below are images of work I have designed over the past months...

The first 2 images are of my latest work, 6 Olive treee sculptures, designed for a Hotel in Greece.
These are followed by gates and new stock items...
